if you had $100k in the bank 20 years ago it would be worth how much today? $125k? ie worthless
ok so if 20 years ago you didn't put that $100k in the bank and bought a house in Sydney which you almost could have, that house would be worth over $1m now wouldn't it?
again it's not rocket science but you can put your money in the bank like 4hrs does and enjoy your interest and your money which will be worthless soon enough due to cost of inflation.
you don't need to be that intelligent to understand the way it works.
