Peer EV1 seems to have made the next Framework Agreement boat. Statement from recent announcement.



FA status, ASX listed graphite miner hopefuls:
BKT (Mahenge) - FA awarded Dec 2021
EGR (Epanko) - still fumbling around
EV1 (Chilalo) - negotiations finalised, awaiting signing ceremony
MNS (Nachu) - negotiations ongoing
VRC (Bunyu) - negotiations ongoing
WKT (Lindi) - no recent mention of FA progress, construction commenced regardless (even without funding secured)

Some interesting information provided in a recent BFS update presentation by Magnis, who similarly intend to conduct both mining and downstream processing in Tanzania.



The proposed Nachu graphite mine is subject to the Tanz Gov 16% FCI in the holding JV entity. The proposed downstream processing facility is treated separately, covered by Special Economic Zone conditions. It may well be that EGR operations are arranged similarly. Not that I would expect shareholders to be informed of any of this.

Also nice to see EV1 management release an announcement regarding a minor delay to the release of an updated BFS - clear reasoning and adjusted timeframe provided.
