Might have been a smart move. And just to carry on here at a bit of tangent...
Let's face it, there is going to be a fair bit of these fun and games until AKM get the Bankable Study complete. But once that is done, and even just prior to a submission to the public, I'd expect the AKM team to be using realised profit estimates to determine what we can afford as a part of royalties deal if that is in fact what is required to get the remainder of the permitting over the line and get the project under way. Mongolia has a big history of documented road safety and infrastructure plans and i'm sure the government would happily sit down and discuss a deal where the profits from such an outstanding deposit can be used to support and maintain road infrastructure in the region.

There is plenty of ammo to get this done. And i get the feeling after reading bits and piece for a week or two, that this has a very good chance of getting done.
Look at the reports out of China in the last two days looking at reform in Coal Mining Safety and Mongolia was a prime example... if there is anyone that is going to have a head start in ensuring maximum mining safety practices are adopted in their operation, it would an Australian operated mine with a plentiful source of funding and a secure supply deal.

Cmon, get it done.
