I think the 1 share might be relevant to the close price.
As I understand it, bids/asks for the closing auction are changed around in that last few mins after close trying to ‘play’ the final price, then at the end 1 single price is calculated for the total amount.
Without seeing the bids and watching the action it might be hard to know for sure, but potentially that 1 share was what tipped it over to 12. Could easily have been someone with a buy bid for plenty more.
