Crypto is taking away the gold shine. You see it yesterday. Asian trading gold up Btc down. NY, gold down Btc up. Difference between the 2 asset class is that Btc is a wealth protector with massive wealth making capabilities. Nobody buy GLD thinking they are going to multibag.
In time I'm sure crypto will have their mature eco system where you participate through the miners and blockchain functionality. Once approval for a direct crypto etf, it becomes mainstream. Will the money authorities help themselves at shooting toes? Are they looking at the Chinese precedent of selfish controls in this space favouring their own version, digi-Yuan? Any fly here on the Feds wall?
