I have the understanding that US stock market drives the other smaller ones even if only sentiment wise. Flow on effect discourages the taking of opposite side of the market. So if SP500 drop for instance 5% overnight, would you be bullish and start buying other markets aggressively?
God stocks do not track SP500/DJ30 but the commodity Gold and its AUDUSD counterpart if we refer to domestic gold stocks. Not sure where having life of their own comes into the equation?
