I think it’s a reasonable move.

Let’s face it, many an Australian aged 50 plus who, three months ago, were happily employed, face the real prospect of never working again. These aren’t your typical dole bludgers, just people caught at the wrong age, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Politically, I look at it as the Libs continuing to consolidate the middle ground, at the expense of Labor, who are increasingly marginalised out on the left with the loony Greens.
