steelpig, I tick 'all the above'... sometimes I trade full time, other times I renovate a house or two or get into landscaping, sometimes i travel a bit, lately been thinking of working for someone else again cos the offer s there and as someone else has said, you get a bit too involved in yourself and yours (disappear up your own ass!)without the outside contact.. one alternative is to set up trading as a completely separate activity to my my family situation... buy a business office and all that stuff... but i'm not sure I want to return to the rigours of full time trading and risk taking.. tho something like an artists space, but for small traders like you people and me, with a bit of interaction with other small traders when I felt like it and shared infrastructure like a hot IT backbone would be good..
