Here's something you don't see everyday....a happy greenie; they are as rare as the fabled dodo.

ECG happy with ARU

Whilst on the current them; albeit one that I just thought up a minute ago; of happy, rational greenies. I saw that George Monbiot appeared on lateline the other week and is now supporting nuclear. Kind of relevant to ARU as we will have a bit of lovely Uranium helping the bottom line. (Gotta love that ARU U kicker)

Sure renewables can play an important and growing role in the energy complex (and soak up a massive amount of ARU REE in the process), nevertheless they aren't the answer yet. If you want carbon-less baseload energy the only answer is nuclear, if you aren't one of the lucky minority to live next to gushing waterfalls for hydro or toasty rocks for geothermal.

On a not so happy note, it seems that a few of the youngin's in Whyalla are running amok and causing a bit of concern. If you have any info on the 19 yo female and her disorderly conduct, please call Crimestoppers or the Whyalla police.
