Forgot to say the main bugbear of people bringing their own bags.

Woolies had the "carousel", pre-loaded with bags,

and going through the checkout, was generally fairly quick.

Now with people bringing their own, helping, (hindering) the shop

salespeople load their bags, is seeing queues getting longer,

and even with a fair amount of registers open, 6 > 8 lined up

at each register. Walked out of one shop yesterday, as it is just sheer chaos

with people trying to load their own bags.

Have a look next time you're at the checkout.

Probably doubled the time it takes to get through the checkout,

compared to previously.
