Some time ago I made comment regarding the importance of Hafnium72

Now what I am writing here needs to be fact checked, but I believe it to be true so here goes
Traditionally Hf and Zr are almost inseparable like say Siamese twins, they can separated BUT at great expense!
The only industry that needed them separated is / was the Nuclear Industry.
Why? well traditional Zirconium ( I think main source is mineral sands ) had the Zr/Hf twins and they needed to be separated to make a super metal that my wife calls bird metal, for not only has it an extremely high melt point it retains structural integrity to something like 90%+ of its melt point
Much like a bird ( budgies for instance ) will look healthy up to the point they fall off their perch!
The main separators of these twins were Areva (French nuclear & now renewables Giant)
Russia and GE. Russia built Chernobyl & GE or more correctly Via Wikpedia

Now rumour has it that both did not use the separated twins.
Why do I tell you this
Because ASM can separate the twins in the flow sheet and metalize both
You see this source of the separated twins is such a game changer for both of the separated twins
have extremely important uses BUT have been too expensive to commercialise
This my friends is a real game changer
