Judging by the lacklustre share price, the share market is not expecting anything spectacular in the half year results on Monday.
I think the market, and members of the public, are still conscious of the actions of Board/ management in response to the video of the carer bashing the resident "Secret camera captures abuse of elderly man in nursing home including attempted 'suffocation'",
The terrible treatment of the resident was then compounded by the inept response from JHC management to threaten to prosecute the daughter of the resident for breaching the Privacy Act, the Aged Care Act and Video Surveillance Act for having taken the footage,
The fact that management did not terminate the employment of employee concerned was a further example of
mismanagement.
Sometimes there is valid reason why a company gets a bad reputation, and the share price then suffers for 3/4 years, or until the Board and senior management are replaced.
