The second paper referenced by Woodpekker above suggests that the off-the-shelf halloysite supplied by competitors is composed of mixed sized natural HNTs, mostly squat and thick. Their product pages also suggest quite a wide variance in thickness and length of tubes. The HNT material from Camel Lake was longer, thinner and with thinner walls (much higher surface area per gram) but was only from one location. Natural variation in these parameters, as well as the presence of other mineral contaminants, will be critical for most of the eventual high value markets but we will only know how in several years time and after a lot more research and testing. It may be that ADN will be supplying many different markets and that these may be different from Imerys and other "competitors". This is a very good argument, IMO, for ADN allocating substantial initial cash-flow to R&D. It may be that they actually "seed" new companies and industries rather than take on the full vale-added chain themselves. (?)

I agree with Rhino 1963 that these issues are not directly relevant to the current share price or to company value in the next couple of years.
