That is one of my points. Where are the purchase orders for the several hundred thousand tons from the Chinese? Why haven't they sold any? Why haven't they used there near billon dollar market cap to build a wet processing plant?


In an earlier post, someone said that I was changing my story. What I said was that the clay was unsuitable for traditional markets, the traditional market for kaolin was for paper coating, not ceramic. I did mention that they may be able to sell for ceramic if they can produce a product that is high enough in brightness, low iron and titanium, but it also has to be low in alkalis( sodium, potassium etc) but these deposits are typically high in alkalis and unless there is a wet process to remove them, it will be hard to even sell for that application at an economic price point.
