Harris Technology Group (ASX:HT8) achieves record quarterly sales, page-33

My understanding of the situation is that it was a genuine mistake – the coupon code of a $15 was supposed to be offered to one single customer, but got shared across Ozbargain and basically anyone can “buy” anything less than $15 for free. Well, if like some of you suggested, there are 6000 orders, then it is up to $90,000 products to be given away. Well, between issuing a letter of apology and giving away $90,000, as a shareholder, not sure about you, I am much prefer to cancel the orders and give refund (Only for orders over $15, really). Guys, HT being a key seller on eBay, my guess is that the refund must have been approved by eBay too. From my reading of the letter, the company offered a $15 coupon with a minimum spend of $100 as a compensation. Yes, it is a stupid thing happened to HT8 and we as shareholders are within our rights to be unhappy about it, but I agree with @$tockfellow, it is not material enough to warranty an ASX release at all. To be honest, it is a small hiccup and in time, customers will be back. By the way, for those of shareholders who jumped in claiming the $15 freebees, did it ever occur to you that this may be a mistake and did any of you try to alarm the company please?
