P.S. A study analysed acquisition premiums in Australia for Healthcare companies from 2012 to 2022. The average premium was approx 70% based on share price one month prior to acquisition announcement.
P.S. So if we are
very generous and use the baseline price of 18 cents which is the 200 day WMA (and approx one month ago), a 70% takeover premium
today would indicate a takeover price of 30.5 cents.
