There may be a very good reason for the Feds to put money into upgrading the rail system. There was a snippet on the radio this morning that caught my attention.....the SA Govt have offered a 210hectare site to the Fed Govt near Kimba as a nuclear fuel dump. Kimba will receive $31M for infrastructure upgrades etc.
This has been approved by all parties except those who commence a court challenge that begins today.
All roads (railways) lead to the Eyre Peninsula at the moment, or so it would seem.
