Most people are not indifferent to the basic sentiments espoused by Christ. They do however have a right to be doubtful of a class of people who somehow think that their version of Christianity is the only truth.

I would suggest that if we as humans want a real breakthrough, something that might actually change human history and seeing that Christianity has been around for 2000 years and now seems to be going nowhere fast, that Christians should study Buddhism, Hinduism, the religions of the First Nation Americans, Islam, etc, etc. I don't mean you study these religions via the propaganda and prejudice controlled by your own religion, rather, by your own sincere, open-hearted endeavours and volition.

So I dare you, go to their religious gatherings, meet and greet them, break bread with them, see how sincere and respectful they are to their version of G.d and then see if you still think we all need to read more about Christianity, which just doesn't get the fact it is one among many religions and not, THE religion.

Or not, in which case it will be more of the same as we spiral deeper into an irreligious state.
