Yes mate, after my home country PNG is nearest to my heart. I fully realize that the the island states in general are short of money., but after the oppressive actions by both Australia, NZ, and PNG over the years, I thought they may have been more wary of China.

For some time now China has been trying to buy influence in the South Pacific. In fact one tiny island a way north of the Cook Islands, whose name escapes me, has been playing the Yanks and the Chinese off against each other. The USA paid for their new courthouse complex, and China paid for their new schools.

This does bode ill for Aust. and NZ....Marum.

I had a job on a project to produce an early (if not the first)
English/Tagalog dictionary.

It was compiled by a Catholic priest working in the
Phillippines.
