thanks mate. Not really sure where the attacks came from, the interview seemed credible enough, and not at all out of line with what JM has discussed previously. He mentioned shareholder structure and partners or insto in the DFS webinar. It shouldn’t be shocking to anyone that strategic partners or JVs for particular pieces might be in play. It’s also not unlike JM to say things without realising how the media might treat it. He says, right now we have a mostly retail SH base so we could be an attractive target for a takeover and they’re conscious of that. Media keys in on the ‘takeover threat’ angle. Although to be fair your all caps thread title didn’t exactly help matters on that one…
