It appears the market is simply short the sector. Throw in the mix no earnings and looking for finance then its easy to see why CPL may attract extra short interest within the sector at this particular point in time.

HP buying suggests that they want to reaffirm confidence in the company, telling us all is on track. Great to see.

Shouldnt be too long before we see a sustainable bounce, HP see value at these prices so others should too, which means competition on the bid for those looking to close out short positions. Speculative interest in resolving finance may also provide some impetus leading into next q.

I guess its all noise for the LT holder. Anyway, just for fun I picked up a few traders this morn. Lets see if I cant knock them out at $1.90+ next q.
