BB one thing I have learned in this game is that you should never put all your eggs in one basket.I don't think you should have too many eggs otherwise you might as well give your money to a fund manager.I would have 4 or five stocks at the most with or without cash.Some would say this isn't spread enough.But if I take a hit it would be a loss of 20% and that is if the stock goes to zero.If you have 4 or 5 - 1 might be down 5% hold on to that and if one goes up 5-10% take the profit.I buy on fundamentals and be careful of stocks where the receivers can come in.I don't want to tell you which way to jump with CNP I hope it goes well for you.I went through a rough patch with shares a few years ago but learnt from my mistakes.List your rules and stick to them.Even Gerry Harvey was bankrupt before he made a come back.Keep your head up.
