What is honest money?
Is gold honest money? Is US dollar honest money? Is Zimbabwe dollar honest money?
I think the above questions reveal some misunderstanding abot honest money.
Honest means what? No pretend to be what you are not, right?
So honest money should simply mean not making false claims.
For example, "strong dollar policy" has been repeated to death by the US government for decades. But any investigation will reveal that the US dollar has been devalued continuously since the establishment of the FED in 1914. So the US dollar "strong currency" is a big lie.
The US dollar is definitely NOT an honest money.
What about gold? Is gold honest money?
