Thanks for taking the time on detailed answer Jako- the valuable parts to me are about the thinking and how to approach this more than the specific stock so I really appreciate the way you explained it! I like the "line in the sand" approach for periods of uncertainty- I think that will allow me to be "decisive about my indecision" and move on more quickly.
Yes I'm in the habit for the last couple of months of looking at the weekly first after a few people on this thread gave me that tip a while ago. I'll draw S&R and trend lines and looking for any obvious events on the weekly first before moving to the daily where I might fine tune the lines. But I don't really spend much time with the weekly doing a proper analysis to form a more developed view before moving to the daily, and obviously I should- so I will. And yes drilling down into the intraday 15 or 30 minute chart can also reveal a lot when I need it.
