Solvar came out with a terrible forecast for 2024 yesterday. Whole lot of reasons - underperformance in NZ, given adverse weather events and recession, spending on Cybersecurity and the big one - back book has interest rates way lower than what they are paying in interest. Humm appears to have had a similar problem, but maybe has moved faster to reprice new loans - we will see.
