More interesting goings on over at TGA.
Today they received a T/O offer from Somers Ltd priced at 1.1x BV.
(Price adjusted proportionally for divis or capita return from potential loan book sale to RMC).
RMC is a loss-making, negative growth lender yet it still get a slight premium to BV.
Somers Ltd is a Bermuda-based investment group (roughly US$3bn in funds).
It already owns 49% of TGA and also 63% of RMC.
Both TGA & RMC have minority holdings in HUM.
Somers may be licking their chops seeing HUM at 0.3x BV.
Plus HUM is a better quality proposition given profitable and with a growing lending business.
Yet I'll still give it to you for just 1x BV, fellas!
