Although I’m not familiar with the exact science, carbon capture & storage tech exists now and it works. It is likely mandatory in H2 synthesis from fossil fuels due to the afore mentioned CO2 produced. Hydrogen produced using CCS is referred to as blue hydrogen; that produced by electrolysis is green hydrogen.
Green is super expensive & hard to scale up at present. Blue is the go at this point in time & I see massive upside for Andromeda should the nanotech play come to commercial fruition.
