look closer to home
instead of constantly blaming , shaming the right ( Hillary’s deplorables label comes to mind ) , how about putting some time and energy into figuring out why so many left voters have shifted to the no camp , it’s your comrades you need back in the fold .
It’s our prime minister who has failed to alleviate the electorates concerns . It’s not good enough to tell the electorate we will give you the ‘details’ after, you’re not getting it , people don’t trust politicians , left or right .
Perhaps the ‘yes’ campaigners throwing around the racist tag to any anyone who questions hasn’t been a particularly good strategy. Particularly from those who are likely to hold positions in this new ‘voice’ department . It appears not to be playing well with left voters , otherwise the result would have been a foregone conclusion as the polls indicated 6 months ago.
