Global information specialist for the food and agricultural supply chain, Animal Pharm, featured a story on IAH yesterday.
The story covers IAH’s relocation to the Kansas City corridor and its recent expansion into New Zealand and Hungary. It reports that the company is said to have received good feedback from attendees after its recent presentation at the 2015 Kansas City Animal Health Investment Forum, with one individual describing the company’s work as “compelling”.
Most intriguing is the final section of the article which discusses IAH’s plans for the US market. US CEO, Blake Hawley, says that the timing of entry of IAH’s products into the US market is dependent upon finding the right partner, but that he was hopeful of having products in the US marketplace this year, with discussions with potential partners happening at present.
Rob Neely is quoted as saying “More than likely we will have the Udder-Mate product in the market reasonably quickly, certainly in this year because talks have now started.” Neely reveals that several large companies had expressed interest in the products featured by IAH in its presentation at the KC Investment Forum. Interestingly, he also adds that he considers IAH's pipeline to be on a par with that of last year's Animal Pharm Best Pipeline award winner Aratana Therapeutics. (Aratana listed on the NASDAQ in 2013 and its shareprice initially soared. However it has suffered a sharp fall in recent weeks on the back of news of failed drug trials.)
