A lot of people have views based on irrational arguements. Many of these views were formed when the stosh between Malandri and the independent gas importer to force the govt to stop the importation of ethanol. A lot of miss truths, lies etc were spread. Views were formed by people on this basis and have persisted. What is sad is many of the people who hold these views drive, by deduction post 1986 cars so it wont effect them.
It is the same arguement when lead was taken out of the fuel. Many cars required a top up mixture. I can see this happening as well.
As I said before people and their cars are hard to separate. a very ego thing.
I have started only recently using the E10 mix, so it is slowly starting.
and 2% is actually quite a lot and will actual cause a ethanol shortage which will need to be supplied from overseas until production ramps up in australia.
but the share price for AAE didnt blink nor any increae in turnover. go figure
