    Club, smart man, but think about the return on your capital. When you bought CBA for under 30 bucks and they now give a 5% div what are you receiving from your initial cash outlay? yes that's right id say around closer to 8% return now, yes you can have the comfort of a term dep but investing isn't a 1 year thing, trading is, 2 things totally different about a trader and an investor, traders want to make quick return, investors want to make a long term return better than an average term dep rate. I myself have one example GMG i bought this in the 20c region and the return on my capital invested is better left in this stock than in a term dep. Disclosure i don't know what price you bought CBA at so the above figure of return are comparable figures..
