India patient story from DW

I am sharing with you a 4-minute video of one of our recent young patients in India.

Apologies for thelength of the video. I am purposely sending it on a Friday, so you can view itat your leisure over the weekend. I decided not to wait for an edited shorterversion of the video because we also have another video coming that shows theboy back home.

There are a coupleof interesting things to note in the video:

• How the boy got burned and why we see so many burns in some developing countries compared with the numbers we see in developed countries;
• A six member all woman surgical team from a premier teaching hospital;
• The operation happened in a public/government hospital;
