    Never mind. I think that there is some good advice embedded in the post, which I try to follow and has partly lead me to my rejecting Watchtower doctrine.


    Some thoughts on your post:


    The avoidance of improper thoughts that results in shunning people for rejecting Watchtower doctrine, withholding life saving blood transfusions and products from children, and discouraging young people from tertiary education.   


    Strong convictions are fine... to a point.

    Where strong convictions become a problem is holding onto them in the face of evidence that they are wrong. An obvious example is a conviction that Watchtower prophecies are accurate in the face of their continuous failure.
