Institutional Insanity : Covid vs Viraleze

There is a saying about mentally challeged people. Who is the craziest, those in the institution or those in control.

These are personal views,. as always DYOR.I live in Canberra (the ACT) which for a long time was immune from the Delta Covid strain,

Things changed rapidly since last Thursday.Inside a week we have 400 nursing staff in isolation. They are calling for retired nurses to come back into the workforce. They are seeking student nurses in there 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of nursing to step up and fill the gap.


Now we all know that Viraleze could form some sort of additional protection for all front line staff. Nurses, Covid testers & doctors, Ambulance , Fire, Police, Emergency service workers, Social security workers , Critical food service workers, Pharmists , etc,etc and etc

But the insane in charge, while realizing that they are losing control on this pandemic, will still will not bring force to bear on the most insane of all institutions. The TGA. SPL was given a government grant (1 Million) to action against Covid. What did they do fine the $93K for advertising in correctly outside of Australia.

.I am in Canberra in the ACT, we are all in lockdown for 2 and a half weeks

The TGA are here to protect the health of the Australian community, they are mainly based in the ACT. They are currently in lockdown having to work from home coping with their kids and all the other problems associated with the lock down.

Good luck with them soon coming up with a rational decision to allow anyone that wants to use Viraleze as an added scope of protection, just like masks and social distancing.

Its a no brainer, even if it doesn't work (which is stupid, because Scripps says it does) it does no harm to allow it.

To be honest with your folks, the TGA under current circumstances is just not able to fulfill that tasks. I am not sure that they know what they are doing.

It seems incredulous to me that they have not allowed a product confirmed to kill viruses in the nasal passages from the Scripps institute a leading world health organisation. Not to be allowed into the community as an added protection for the public.

One questions that after things settle down (who knows when) that the TGA should be seriously investigated for their lack of action on the most serious subject that has confronted Australian public for the last year and a half. Maybe heads should roll. Incompetence comes to mind.
