Clearly its always been political, gov putting pressure on the tga to delay approval for as long as possible because “the nasal spray may deter the public from getting vaccinated” Basically saying we cannot trust the public will make the right decision and vaccinate, but will prefer to take the easy option with this spray. IMO it demonstrates they’ve learned nothing, no foresight. No forward thinking to the next pandemic. Government should have stockpiles for emergency distribution to prevent transmission immediately whilst effective and safe vaccines can be developed for long term control. I think they have made a rod for their own back by not including references for COVID in advertising. Weak, lame and dangerous decisions imo. Not upholding the core principle of protecting public health for the greater good.
