I thought Bonner said that gold was fairly valued at around the $USD1,000 level. So from here on gold would be purely an inflation/economic instability play in USD terms. But we are living in OZ and perhaps we are not facing the same level of inflation as the US with its greater currency debasement.

I dunno. Just popped in to see where the thinking is going on the gold thread. Maybe we are a bunch of lost sheep awaiting the market to shepherd us in the right direction (or be led to the slaughterhouse).
