Petroleum News Alaska posted a bulletin (available to "bulletin" subscribers only) providing an update regarding CP's position regarding the Willow. Once trading resumes, I'm jumping back in. It makes sense for 88E to drill at Project Peregrine despite Judge Gleason's decision. My understanding is that NEPA (USA environmental law) is silent regarding "climate change". Irrespective of your belief or any scientific data about oil and climate, a Judge does not have the privilege of rewriting NEPA. The Judge has the responsibility to uphold the law, not create it. My current thinking is that CP will prevail on appeal and that NPR-A oil will be responsibly developed.

So, I'm a "buy" but do not hold any 88E shares at this moment, pending reinstatement of trading. CRs are always at a discount to current trading range. So, the stock may experience a brief downdraft. If so (and even if not), I'm a buyer.
