I do agree that as usual they appear somewhat secretive. Perhaps they have been told by the gov or tga how far they can go in any disclosure of results. Bit of conspiracy theory here I do admit. But I cannot explain it otherwise. Peer review will reveal all I’m sure. I just think that it’s not only incorrect to say the trial failed overall but it is terribly irresponsible. It draws people to incorrectly assume the stuff doesn’t work. And we all know it does. If greater than 98% of people had the desired outcome in the older cohorts, and many in the younger cohorts had cleared the virus before day 7 and either didn't finish trial because of that (or for some other non compliance reason.) Many of them probably felt they had no need to report a result on day 7. That has been the cause for the misrepresentation of results. You’ve got to see things in their full context. If you drill down on it like that you cannot possibly conclude the trial was a failure.
