I’m not sure the TGA is waiting on peer review to help determine how Viraleze can be advertised? Peer review will be important. Amongst other things, it will give those that claim the trial was a failure a better understanding about terms like statical significance, statistical power, significant etc and what they actually mean in the context of a clinical trial. They were not adequately described and was possibly the cause for the misinterpretation of results in the announcement imo. Obviously caused confusion for the average punter. Peer review will better justify the very positive comments from the chief investigaor and also from several others that commented and reported on the results.
