Is Capitalism & Democracy in conflict and if so which one will wim.
IMO, economists & those on these threads with an economic
bias/squint would admit that economics trumps all systems of Government over time.
Many say that Democracy's challenge going forward in inequality in that
we are equal to the extent that we all have one vote, equal before the law & equal before
our God.(at least In the West we have descended from the Judeo-Christian Tradition)
yet inequality is increasing in Western Democracies over the past 50 yeras with the Rich getting
richer and the poor getting poorer.
Australia has had a culture of equality and a fair go but we seem to have been gradually
Americanised since WW2.
