    Singapore is not Australia.
    Integrity screening is used to determine for "nominated" parliamentarians. The Singapore goverment has to showed the world of their "incoruptibilty" to attract investors into the country.
    Therefore those nominated to stand for parliament has to pass very stringent tests to prove their hinesty!!!
