hmmmm, that byd report notes that the 6 mines have a total of 25m t @ 2.5% li for a total of 1mt contained li carbonate, not 6 mines each of 25mt. perhaps this is the deal avz are in a trading halt over??
one thing with li mining is that having the deposit is all well and good, getting it out of the ground and into a saleable form is another story all together - and at what cost?
even if true, and they can mine at a profit, this may satisfy the chinese demand for li, but hardly global demand.
