Help... Is it 500 shares or $500 worth of stock. I have bought 500 shares ($180) but do I need to buy $500 worth to be on the register. I don't see how you say say it's $500 since if the price drops, you no long have $500 worth and therefore are not on the register - even though you have shares. Please explain....
Would 1 share put you on the register.
