I think you are right to point out the supply chain issues I work in plastic packaging. The bottles are blow moulded and we could make over 100,000 and week with spare capacity in our plant alone. New moulds could be made in 8-10 weeks. if their was no spare capacity in Europe. The caps are injection moulded and the moulds will take 20-26 weeks to be made if their is no spare capacity in Europe.
Both sets of moulds could be made quicker if a toolmaker had made the same moulds before and had the programmes and drawings in house.

We work 24 hours for 5 day a week so would be able to increase production by 40% if we could get people to work overtime. Maybe its the same in Europe.

It always the chicken or the egg scenario, until we have a clear idea of sales how many container's do you order.

It's never as easy as us long term holders would like.
