You are dead right about the MLs. And the biggest banks affected belong to the fed cartel members themselves. So they are desperate and trying to head off a disaster next week. If the market dives expect the fed to hit the rate cut button.
But dont underestimate these banks - they control the market and if they want it up they can drive it up alright! The media is just there to help.
