Trade finance is only one service offering. The core of Spenda is a digitisation and integration of the accounts receivable and accounts payable between supplier and buyer that integrates with the backend accounting system in real time. One transaction through the Spenda system integrates payment, and all the accounting at both ends. Everything else including trade financing, credit card processing, point of sale, inventory management, ecommerce, is added on.

What we have been seeing in recent announcements is that as well as building out the trade financing capabilities, we are able to integrate Spenda into key verticals such as agribusiness and we are looking to tackle other challenges of the digitisation of trade such as the integrity of the contractural and payment channel. The strategy of the business clearly is to fill all the gaps within the industry verticals we are targeting to build value by improving the efficiency and integrity of the financial transactions between parties.
