The SADC summit in Aug 2023 endorsed a $17 billion natural gas infrastructure plan for the region, including pipeline options.

Zimbabwe is preparing to host the SADC summit next month, which will be preceded by the SADC Industrialisation Week (28 July to August 2). Zimbabwe will also be assuming the Chairmanship of SADC for the next 3 years.

Progress in relation to the natural gas infrastructure plan will undoubtedly be discussed. It would make sense for Zimbabwe to have internal plans for Muzarabani ahead of the summit, wouldn't it?
