I think in the context of how he said it, he wasn't asked about it. He actually went into his internal box of excitement and blurted it out at the end of the conversation if you ask me, which is a bit of a tell. IMO he is not the type of man to just say things out of thin air for no reason, he has proven this over time, When he talks, it's for a reason and it usually plays out at a later date like clockwork.

I'm actually a little upset the interviewer didn't push back and extend the conversation a few more sentences. Either way, time will tell.
