CCS Demo plant:
I believe a few exciting snippets of news were dropped by James in the interview relating to the demo plant.
1. It should arrive this week. I would suggest ADN would like some nice pics of it in place and fully tested, commissioned and running.
2. ADN have some nice kit from overseas that can purify the high grade halloysite to the level needed for the demo plant and have had it running for some time and have a large qty (1 tonne) ready for the plant.
3. The halloysite from ADN has incredibly large chemically reactive surface area when treated and can capture much higher percentages of CO2.
I think ADN are wisely keeping their powder dry on the demo plant until it is ready.
Im happy to wait until above occurs.
Been to demonstrations before where a few bugs came up and caused a flop.
Just when everyone left disappointed the PhD students fixed the bug and had the plant working...
Halloysite may well turn out to be the new E = mc 2
