I mentioned shorters. Dunno about panicked, but it’s been a pretty standard tactic of somebody to dump on open when market is expected to open down, and shorters would be as good a culprit as anyone seeing as they’re still actively selling every day. Maybe it was accumulators though, seeing as we seem to build back to a reasonable level every day. You’d have to be pretty bloody disgruntled (and stupid imo) to sell your position in a company because the MD told you some good news in a video on Saturday and there was no ASX announcement on the Monday. Unless you think he’s lying, in which case you should definitely sell because who wants to own a chunk of a company run by a liar… I honestly don’t know enough about ASX disclosure rules to know whether something should have been released by the letter of the law, but I’ll take the news in the interview at face value until we hear more.
